THE PREP ROOM
(Probably the worst picture in the world) This is where we did prep in the evening. It later became a temporary dormitory for a French 15 year old girl who was at the school VERY briefly in 1979/80. All the other pre-fabs were completely wrecked or covered in crap, so I got a picture of this one instead. To the right of it is the old Staff Room. You would stand outside it if you had been bad, awaiting a punishment. Inside the staffroom it was similar to an old peoples home, with a small portable TV and a lot of dirty cups and high backed old chairs. There was a pin board just inside the doorway, where boys who were allowed out would be checked off, and their names logged. It was also used to store postcards as I recall.
